“We need the courage to start and continue what we should do and the courage to stop what we shouldn't do”
this is true because yea its true.

Student responsibilities
Part 3

What is important to you is that you, as you start to reach milestones in your ambitions, you appreciate your own achievements. It is a boost, of course, if others appreciate what you have done too, but appreciating yourself will strengthen your self-belief, and reinforce your determination to succeed.

Some of the key characteristics you will find in those who are successful are preservance, prepared to research, plan and work hard, practice a lot even when things do not seem to be going well, and an ability to recover and learn from setbacks. At the outset of whatever it is you are trying to succeed in, a strong vision of your future, planning, and setting yourself achievable targets can all play an important role.

If you do not naturally have all those characteristics, then do not despair. Each of them can be accomplished by your own application. You can use meditation and visualization techniques to initiate your vision, and they can certainly be learnt both for that purpose and for each step you take to reach your goals. Setting goals and objectives can be a personal or business techniques that can’t be learnt. You can develop inner strength to succeed if you apply yourself to doing just that; that will enable you to recover from setbacks more easily.
Students: these are your responsibilities.

student responsibilities

Student responsibilities
Part 1
Students have the right to seize the responsibility for their own destiny and should be encouraged to do so. With every right comes responsibility
1. I have the responsibility to come to every class prepared to listen, to participate, and to learn.
2. I have the responsibility to read the text carefully, nothing important ideas and rephrasing concepts in my own words.

3. I have responsibility to work examples in the textbook and those given in class
4. I have responsibility to other students, the teacher, an assistant, and other resources whenever I need the extra help.
5. I have the responsibility to understand that the teacher is not primarily responsible for making me understand that the
6. I have the responsibility of keeping an open mind and trying to comprehend what teacher is trying to get across.

student success statement partv2

Successful students
part 2

4.
Successful people learn that a student and a teacher make a team. Most teachers want exactly what you want: they would like for you to learn the material in their respective classes and earn a good grade.

Successful students reflect well on the efforts of any teacher; if you have learned your material, the instructor takes some justifiable pride in teaching. Join forces with your instructor, they are not an enemy, you share the same interests, the same goal – in short, you’re teammates. Get to know your professor. You’re the most valuable players on the same team. Your jobs are to work together for mutual success. Neither wishes to chalk up a losing season. Be a team player!

5. Successful students don’t sit in the back. Successful students minimize classroom distractions that interfere with learning. Students want the best seat available for their entertainment dollars, but willingly seek the worst seat for their educational dollars. Students who sit in the back cannot possibly be their teacher’s teammate (see n.4)

6. Successful students take good notes. Successful students take notes that are understandable and organized, and review them often. Why put something into your notes you don’t understand? Ask the questions know that are necessary to make your notes meaningful at some later time. A short review of your notes while the material is still fresh on your mind helps you learn then, the less you’ll have to learn later and the less time it will take because you won’t have to include some deciphering time, also. The whole purpose of taking notes is to use them, and use them often. The more you use them, the more they improve.

success statement

student success statement
“Right is right, even if everyone is against it.
Wrong is wrong, even if everyone is for it”
-William Penn
This statement by Penn is extremely true. If something is right no matter what it is right even if it may seem wrong to everyone. If you something is wrong and everyone is for it and says its right that doesn’t mean it’s right. It is what you believe if you believe and truly know it is right and everyone is against you, you still need to do it. The same is for the wrong if you know that it is truly bad then don’t do it even if people are all for. So in a summarized way this quote is amazingly true.

50 habits of successful people

50 Habits of Successful
people
(habits 44-47)

44. They don’t rationalize failure. While many are talking about their age, their sore back, their lack of time, their poor genetics, their ‘bad luck’, their nasty boss and their lack of opportunities (all good reasons to fail), they are finding a way to succeed despite all their challenges.
45. They have an off switch. They know how to relax, enjoy what they have in their life and to have fun.
46. Their career is not their identity, it’s their job. It’s not who they are, it’s what they do.
47. They are more interested in effective than they are in easy. While the majority look for the quickest, easiest way (the shortcut), they look for the course of action which will produce the best results over the long term.

Ian choosing the right

I saw little Ian choosing the right. Instead of just keeping the ball for himself, he gave it back to the little boy who had lost it in the first place. He chooses the right and in reward he earned himself a 4 game contract and a baseball bat signed by his favorite baseball player. His good deeds weren’t given to waste. This shows that people can be kind and not everyone is bad.

39. They don’t hang out with toxic people
40. They don’t invest time or emotional energy into things that they have no control of.
41. They are happy to swim against the tide, to do what most won’t. They are not people pleasers and they don’t constant approval.
42. They are more comfortable with their own company than most.
43. They set higher standards for ( a choice we can all make), which in turn produces greater commitment, more momentum, a better work ethic and of course, better results

Student success statement
“It’s not living that matters, but living rightly”
Socrates
I believe that this statement is only half true. It is true life is the best and you get the greatest gift from it by living rightly. However life its self is a gift and living is the main thing that matters. Although to repay the gift that has been given to you should live correctly and true to heart. However as I stated before the main important thing is you have life and you live that is the greatest thing ever. With this that is where you live rightly because that shows that you value the life that has been given to you and keep it tight and close to you.

50 habits of successful people

50 Habits of
Successful People
(Habits 21-30)

21. They don’t believe in, or wait for fate, destiny, chance or luck to determine or shape their future. They believe in, and are committed to actively and consciously creating their own best life.
22. While many people are reactive, they are proactive. They take action before they have to.
23. They are more effective than most at managing their emotions. They feel like we all do but they are not slaves to their emotions.
24. They are good communicators and they consciously work at it.
25. They have a plan for their life and they work methodically at turning that plan into reality. Their life is not a clumsy series of unplanned events and outcomes.
26. Their desire to be exceptional means that they typically so things that won’t. They become exceptional by choice. We’re all faced with life-shaping decisions almost daily. Successful people make the decisions that most won’t and don’t.
27. While many people are pleasure junkies and avoid pain and discomfort at all coast, successful people understand the value and benefits of working through the tough stuff that most would avoid.
28. They have identified their core values (what is important to them) and they do their best to live a life which is reflective of those values.
29. They have balance. While they may be financially successful, they know that the term money and success are not interchangeable. They understand the people who are successful on a financial level only, are not successful at all. Unfortunately we live in a society which teaches that money equals success. Like many other things, money is a tool. It’s certainly not a bad thing but unfortunately, too many people worship it.
30. They understand the importance of discipline and self-control. They are strong. They are happy to take the road less travelled

hitting the top

Little jimmy is an inspiration because instead of lying and breaking the record of his school . he instead choose the right and became a champion of CTR.! And ctr is always better than ctw. Since, he told the truth he doesn’t have to live with the guilt of knowing he won unfairly. He might’ve lost but at least he feels good about himself and other do as well. For example, when he told his mom that he told the truth instead of winning by lying she broke in tears because she was so proud of her son. Another example is when his gym teacher asked him if he had touched the beam and he said no and chose the right. With him telling the truth the gym teacher was so proud of him that he hugged him and the whole class gave him a round of applause.
